when we leave the witnesses, are we not devalued as apostates by those who remain witnesses, some of whom are lifelong friends?.
could it be when we find a place like this, we discover again that we are valued, so that anything threatening that sense of belonging hurts too much as a reminder of our exit from the witnesses?.

i hear a lot of comments about the size of the society's printing empire.
some persons have suggested that it is one of the largest in the world.
i would like to dispute that statement.. the society prints about 25 million copies of each mag, 48 issues per year.
